It shouldn't come as a shock to anyone that many distinguished aftermarket tuners are anxiously waiting to get their hands on the all-new 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. Hennessey Performance, those wonderful Texan minds behind the glorious Venom GT as well as a number of other tuned Cadillacs and Camaros, has just announced its plans to launch both a supercharger and a twin-turbo system for the new C7 Stingray.

The supercharger system will reportedly increase output to 700 horsepower while the twin-turbo kit can supposedly produce an output somewhere between 800 and 1,000 hp. Just for comparison, the standard C7 Corvette Stingray produces 450 hp from its 6.2-liter V8. Both packages will also include a cold air induction system, a new cat-black exhaust system, and stainless-steel long-tube headers. Due to all of that added power, Hennessey will also be adding a new set of wheels and tires, a Brembo brake system and an upgraded suspension system. No word yet as to when these kits will be available.
