Hennessey Puts The Chevrolet SS on the Dyno

Testing

We are very much looking forward to whatever comes of this.

An important part of the process of tuning any car is to get a baseline measurement of its power. Even today, when manufacturers' provided power figures that are much more reliable than in days past, any tuner determined to do things properly will put the car on the dyno first. So here we see the guys at Hennessey, a serious tuner if ever there was one, testing the new Chevy SS ahead of what we can only assume will be an awesome tune.

The totals are 359 horsepower and 367lb-ft of torque, as measured at the rear wheels. We can only assume that a bunch more is soon on the way.
