Hennessey Shows Off Venom F5 Hypercar's Carbon Fiber Dashboard

The Hennessey Venom F5 hypercar's big reveal is just over a week away.

Hennessey recently entered the spotlight teasing the upcoming Venom F5, an insanely powerful hypercar you may want to keep an eye on since it's tipped to become the fastest road-legal production car in the world with a top speed potentially exceeding the 300 mph barrier. Teaser images hinted that Hennessey may have already beaten the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport's 268 mph production car top speed record, but we'll have to wait until next month to find out if the Venom F5 succeeded.

In the run-up to its reveal, Hennessey has released a new photo of the hypercar, this time giving us a first look at the hypercar's carbon fiber interior. Posted on Hennessey's Instagram account, a render image shows how the Venom F5's cabin will be extensively clad in carbon fiber throughout to make the hypercar as lightweight as possible. "Elegant, functional and aggressive, inside and out," the company posted on Instagram. "Often we ask ourselves 'what would Steve Jobs build?'" Dominating the dashboard are three huge air vents that have a similar look and layout as the hypercar's triangulated exhaust layout. Coincidence? Possibly not.

The render also confirms that the Venom F5 will feature a wide touchscreen without any physical buttons surrounding it. Since the image isn't very high resolution, it's difficult to read the text shown next to the "F5" in the top-right corner of the display. On the bottom right corner, however, there appears to be text that says "AAA" that's linked to the car's carbon fiber front spoiler, so this could a display mode relating to the car's aerodynamics. Elsewhere, we can see shift paddles behind the steering wheel, along with an alloy footrest and yellow leather surfaces on the door panels and the upper section of the dashboard to contrast with the carbon fiber.

Hennessey will be lifting the wraps off the Venom F5 hypercar on November 1 at the upcoming SEMA show in Las Vegas, and is expected to produce over 1,451-horsepower and a top speed approaching 300 mph.
