The auto tuning company Hennessey Performance has just unveiled the 2012 Hennessey VelociRaptor APV. The APV is a stunning combination between rough power, strength, exclusive safety and passenger comfort. It's based on the Ford Raptor Super Crew and offers a choice of a few seating options for six, seven, and eight passengers. The Hennessey VelociRaptor Armored Performance Vehicle sports a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine which is capable of delivery 575 horsepower.

This ensures that the vehicle can easily drive away from, through, or over obstacles both on the road as well as off the road. The performance figures are achieved through a masterful modification pack, the ProCharger D-1SC centrifugal supercharger unit, an upgraded fuel injector, a large air-to-air intercooler, as well as an ECU remap. Also, upon request Hennessey can include a full line of electronic upgrades that include satellite TV, internet, and of course, a fully loaded entertainment system. Safety has never sounded so sweet.
