Forget the Karma. Fisker has moved on to Mustangs.
We haven't heard much from Fisker Automotive founder and namesake Henrik Fisker since he was fired from his own company. The designer of the BMW Z8 and Aston Martin DB9 went on to start his own company which led to the production of the luxury hybrid plug-in Karma. You know the rest of the story from there. Anyway, Fisker himself has remained under the radar and watched as his former company was sold to the Chinese.
But now he's back having teamed up with Galpin Auto Sports to produce a new model. Well, kind of new. What we can tell from this single sketch that's just been released is that Fisker has restyled a 2015 Ford Mustang. His latest creation is called the Rocket, which is claimed to be "the ultimate American muscle car." No other information is available but we're told the Rocket will be unveiled next week at the LA Auto Show.
