Henrik Fisker, the man who penned the design for the Aston Martin Vantage (along with Ian Callum) and DB9, is undergoing a rather nasty spat with his former employer. The Danish designer is now suing the British automaker for $100 million, alleging civil extortion. The irony is that Aston Martin sued Fisker last year over design infringement regarding the Thunderbolt concept, based on the Aston Martin Vanquish. Here would be the part where a pun about Karma is necessary but that'll be saved for a later time.

Fisker had some very choice words for Aston Martin which he put into a letter. A copy of that letter was sent to Road & Track. Here's a choice quote: "Aston Martin is trying to intimidate me to prop up their own flailing company and to mask their financial and product deficiencies. I refuse to be intimidated and that is the reason for today's filing." Of course this whole debacle is over the Mustang based Force 1 concept, which Aston claims is too similar to their design language. So basically, Fisker is suing Aston Martin who sued Fisker, who used to work together all because the design language of a sketch looks too similar to Aston Martin. Right… When do the movie rights go on sale?
