Henrik Fisker Is Suing Aston Martin For A Sh** Load Of Cash

Now they got bad blood. You know they used to be best buds.

HenrikFisker, the man who penned the design for the Aston Martin Vantage (along withIan Callum) and DB9, is undergoing a rather nasty spat with his formeremployer. The Danish designer is now suing the British automaker for $100 million, alleging civil extortion. The irony is that Aston Martin sued Fisker lastyear over design infringement regarding the Thunderbolt concept, based on theAston Martin Vanquish. Here would be the part where a pun about Karma isnecessary but that’ll be saved for a later time.

Fiskerhad some very choice words for Aston Martin which he put into a letter. A copy of that letter was sent to Road & Track. Here's a choice quote: “Aston Martin is trying to intimidate me to prop up theirown flailing company and to mask their financial and product deficiencies. Irefuse to be intimidated and that is the reason for today’s filing.” Of coursethis whole debacle is over the Mustang based Force 1 concept, which Astonclaims is too similar to their design language. So basically, Fisker is suing Aston Martin whosued Fisker, who used to work together all because the design language of a sketch looks too similar to Aston Martin. Right… When do the movie rights go on sale?
