Here's An Up Close Look At The One-Off Lamborghini Concept S

Supercar

And it's absolutely stunning.

Remember that Lamborghini S concept that's going up for auction at RM Sotheby’s? Well, here’s a proper up close look of this one-off supercar sitting on display at the Lamborghini Museum at its headquarters in Sant'Agata Bolognese, Italy. So what exactly is the Concept S and why did the Italian automaker decide to build this baby? As you may have noticed it’s quite simply a completely roofless Gallardo with a crazy panel that practically splits the car in half.

The concept was originally built in 2005 as an engine-less show model and then was made street legal in 2006 with a 500 horsepower 5.0-liter V10. The Concept S was done to gauge customer interest. However, a lackluster response led to the unique concept being limited to one unit only, and here it is in all of its topless glory.
