Here's Ferrari's Christmas Present To A Bunch Of California T Owners

Supercar

Don't forget to say thank you.

Not so long ago, Ferrari recalled nearly 800 of its cars in the US in order to fix a problem regarding their Takata airbags. And now, just in time for the holidays, not only has Ferrari issued another recall for a specific model but also a stop sale order. That model? The 2016 California T. According to a Reuters report, Ferrari North America is recalling up to 185 2016 model year California Ts due to the risk of a fuel leak in the engine compartment. Ferrari claims this could, obviously, be a fire risk.

Apparently, that stop sale order was issued on November 23 and affected cars built between September 8 and November 11, 2015. The source of the fire risk is a supplier-manufactured defective part that Ferrari will replace for free. No injuries have been reported so far and nor have any California Ts caught on fire.
