Centenario

There are plenty of things to like about the new Lamborghini Centenario that debuted this week at Geneva 2016. It looks incredible, the technology featured throughout is pretty interesting and the attention to detail in the Centenario's construction is stammeringly beautiful. In fact, there's only one problem we have with the latest Lambo: we're never going to be in the position to drive one. Like, ever. However, a small consolation can be had in the fact the Lamborghini Centenario will be prominently featured in the next Forza game.

Once we'd all started to calm down after seeing the Centenario in the carbon-fiber for the first time, Microsoft made the announcement that this Lamborghini will be the cover car for the Forza game that's due to be revealed in full later this year at the E3 entertainment expo (in layman's terms, the gaming industry's equivalent of the Geneva Motor Show).

Not only does it extend Forza's long-running association with Lamborghini (the Huracan, Veneno, Aventador J and Sesto Elemento all made their first ever video game appearances in Forza releases), but knowing the Centenario will be a playable car helps hold back the tears we wept when finding out all 40 units of the limited-run supercar had been sold.

More info on the Forza game containing the Lamborghini Centenario likely won't be revealed until the Microsoft press conference at this June's E3 expo. We hope, though, that some juicy details slip through the PR net earlier than that - the new Forza is, after all, showcasing a car that was notoriously leaked months before its official unveiling! There is one thing we're pretty certain about, though: with a car like the Lamborghini Centenario on the cover, the new Forza game's going to have the coolest box art of anything you'll come across at your local GameStop in 2016.
