We all know about how GM used shitty ignition switches for many of its models around a dozen years ago. And yes, because said switches were shitty (i.e. defective), accidents happened and people were killed. As such, the reputation of the Chevy Cobalt has likely been tarnished forever. Although the Cobalt was never a great car, it was decent enough for the times. It was actually one of the last models of the "Old GM," you know the company that thrived on badge engineering.
