The leaked GT350 badge says it all.
We all know Ford is putting the final touches on the high-performance version of its all-new 2015 Mustang. Spy shots and Nurburgring testing videos have proven this many times over. Set to be called the GT350, Ford has yet to officially make the naming announcement. However, a new leaked image courtesy of the crew at Mustang6.com reveals the new Shelby GT350 badge. This visual confirmation of the name shouldn't come as any surprise, but do note that the wording is written in the "Shelby" style font.
It's a fair assumption the name Shelby will also appear. The GT350 will be powered by an even more potent version of the 5.0-liter Coyote V8 that's also under the hood of the Mustang GT. This time, however, output will be increased to over 500 horsepower. An official reveal date has yet to be given, but we'd put our money on the Detroit Auto Show this January.
