We recently confirmed that BMW will definitely be at the Paris Motor Show this October, unlike other mainstream automakers, such as Volkswagen, who are opting out this year. We also know a major BMW world premiere will happen in Paris, widely expected to be the all-new X5. While we've seen plenty of spy shots of test mules, Russian language autoreview.ru, via Bimmerpost, has managed to get a hold of a couple of leaked images of the fourth-generation 'Sport Activity Vehicle.'

We think these images are real deal because the styling falls in line with BMW's new SUV design language, most notably the front grille and large vents. It's similar to both the new X3's front end design as well as the upcoming X7, of which we've seen a concept and other revealing spy shots. Built on BMW's new CLAR modular platform, the new X5 will come equipped with an air suspension for an improved ride and, for the first time, BMW's Integral Active Steering system that's capable of adjusting steering feel and weight depending on the current driving situation. Buyers can opt for the impressive Adaptive M Suspension Professional as well.

Under the hood, expect gasoline and diesel offerings, as well as a plug-in hybrid. However, the diesels are not likely to come to the US. We'll have more details as we get closer to October, but for now what do you think about the 2019 X5's design. Good? Bad? Or TBA?
