Earlier this week, a handful of leaked images of the new BMW Z4 found their way onto the internet. The images only showed the front, side, and rear profile of the car, but didn't show us what the interior looked like. CarScoops has managed to obtain even more photos of the car, which give us a detailed look at the car both inside and out. These appear to be official photos from BMW (albeit slightly blurry), which we will likely see again in higher resolution on August 23rd when the car is officially revealed.

The leaked images show off the Z4 in M40i guise, which will likely pack a 3.0-liter twin-turbo inline-six with around 380 horsepower. The car clearly sticks to the Z-formula of a short rear deck with a long, prominent hood. Thanks to these leaked images, we finally know what the interior of the car will look like. The cockpit looks extremely well appointed with metal trim surrounding the iDrive infotainment knob as well as the air vents.

An automatic gear lever appears to be the only option and there are prominent Sport, Comfort, and EcoPro buttons next to the electronic gear lever. The center console also features a small storage area with a wireless charger and USB ports, and BMW has decided to retain the eight radio preset buttons on the dash. In the gauge cluster, BMW has replaced traditional gauges with a digital cluster like the one found in the new 8 Series. From this small glimpse, we are starting to like the new Z4, and we are looking forward to its full reveal.
