These images came from the most unlikely place.
For some very odd reason the new Camaro broke cover in full a day early, appearing on the CNBC show "Squawk Box." Images of the uncovered Camaro were revealed live on the program, and one forum member from GM Inside News had the presence of mind to grab screenshots to share with the world. The images are a bit rough but they seem to show a new Camaro that looks strikingly similar to the one that preceded it.
According to a source who spoke with Jalopnik, the new Camaro will have three engine options. Those are: a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder with 270 horsepower and 290 lb-ft of torque, a 3.6-liter V6 with 330 horses and 275 lb-ft of torque and the top-line 6.2-liter LT1 V8 good for 440 horsepower and 450 lb-ft of torque. We'll know more about the new Camaro, including whether or not the engine specs are correct, when it is revealed in full tomorrow.
