Oh, and this one is bespoke.
Only 500 examples are planned worldwide and, chances are, you didn’t manage to snag one of them. The McLaren 675LT Coupe is the lightest, most powerful, fastest and most track-focused model in the Woking, UK-based company’s Super Series lineup. It’s a 666-hp street legal missile with carbon-fiber construction and a ferocious 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 that’s equally at home on the track. And there’s some McLaren F1 pedigree in there too; LT stands for Long Tail, a designation first given to the F1 GTR Longtail.
So really, who wouldn’t want one? And here’s your last chance: One Drop, an international non-profit organization, has teamed up with McLaren to auction off a bespoke 675LT Coupe, valued at more than $400,000, at the Cirque de Soleil gala in Las Vegas on March 18. All proceeds of the sale will go to One Drop’s global safe water initiatives. What makes this 675LT a one-off? It was created in conjunction with 2009 Formula 1 world champion Jenson Button. Built to Button’s preferred specs, it also includes his autograph on the carbon-fiber sill panel. Interested buyers who can’t make the live event can place a bid online.
