If you have a Costco membership and happen to be in the market for a new Audi or a luxury vehicle in general, then this is something you definitely want to know about. Aside from buying things like toothpaste to pretzels in bulk, the warehouse store also has its Costco Auto Program where members can enjoy additional savings when buying or leasing certain makes and models. Typically, mainstream brands are included, such as Ford and Chevrolet, but Cars Direct has learned that Audi currently has an amazing offer with this program.

For all of this month, just about every 2020 Audi is being offered to club members with employee pricing. This means club members can slash 10 percent off MSRP. What's more, this offer can be combined with other incentives. High-end and sometimes limited-production models are also included, such as the Audi S8. It currently commands a starting price tag of $131,000 which equates to $13,000 in savings for Costco members.

Interested buyers need to also know both the A8 and S8 currently have an unadvertised $4,000 dealer cash incentive right now. There's also a $1,000 loyalty discount. That's a potential combined savings of $18,000. However, there are a few Audis that are off-limits entirely.

None of the ultra-high performance RS models, including the Audi R8, are eligible. The A3 and S3 are as well, but what's really odd is that the Q5 isn't currently on the list but the more expensive SQ5 is. Potential buyers should also note that employee pricing for Costco members is being delayed until July 25 for the Q7, SQ7, Q8, and SQ8. Audi is even letting dealerships opt-out of the SQ7 and SQ8 discounts.

Another interesting restriction comes with the Costco Shop Card members receive if they complete a survey. This card is worth up to $750 but can be applied to only a few select Audis, specifically the A6 and A7. The A4 and A5 have a $500 discount with the card.

Despite these exceptions and the fact that not all Audi dealerships are part of Costco's network, these offers, mainly the employee pricing, are very good deals not often found on a luxury brand. Those interested have all summer to shop around and make up their minds because the promotion isn't scheduled to end until September 30.
