HHR Comes in High Performance SS Trim

Industry News

The popular Chevrolet HHR may have just found a new market. Now available in SS trim, it has even more power and attitude. Its design is a throwback to the 1949 Chevrolet Suburban and it's been modernized in a very cool way. The SS adds the 2.0 liter turbocharged, direct-inject Ecotec four-cylinder engine. Exterior enhancements over the base and panel models include more aggressive front and rear designs, extra side body panels, and chrome wheels.

A unique short-throw 5 speed manual transmission is also available along with an optional four-speed automatic. Unfortunately, if you want one, time is running out as Chevrolet will drop the SS model after the 2010 model year.
