This is the most powerful Australian muscle car ever built.
We all know that GM’s Holden brand will be making some changes soon. Namely, that V8-powered Commodore sedan won’t be around forever. Despite having that rear-wheel-drive, V8 setup, the Commodore will become a thing of the past in a few years. Before that unfortunate ending arrives, Holden has launched the most powerful Australian muscle car ever built: the HSV Gen-F GTS. With its supercharged 6.2-liter V8, this very special Commodore has 577 horsepower and 546 lb-ft of torque.
And it just so happens to be the ideal car to take on an Australian road trip. Check out this latest Motor Trend Epic Drive video showcasing not only the beauty of the land Down Under, but also the country’s wonderful car and racing culture.
