Holdens Version of the Cruze Hatchback

GM

It was only a matter of time before we could expect to see GM's Holden out the five-door Cruze Hatchback we all got a glimpse of at the Geneva Motor Show. Holden has released the first official photos of the compact hatchback with the brand's lion logo on it. Holden Design Studio is one of GM's three facilities worldwide with the capability to design and build prototype concept vehicles for exhibitions and international auto shows.

This Aussie-market version of the hatchback will be manufactured locally at the Elizabeth plant. Holden expects the hatch to go into series production in the second half of this year, but the company did not announce details on the hatchback's engine range.
