The Honda Civic Type R doesn't exactly blend in very well. It's an aggressively styled machine that is built to go fast. An almost total lack of interest in conventional styling has made the FK8 edition of the Type R one of the most polarizing designs of recent memory, something that has seemingly prompted Honda to opt for a more restrained design with the 2022 model.

But what if you like extreme styling? What if, rather than toning the Type R down, you'd prefer to enhance its overt looks? Varis has the answer, but it certainly isn't cheap.

The kit is called "Arising-II Aero Kit" and fits all FK8 Civic Type Rs produced from 2017 to 2020, and as you can see, it looks menacing. But again, the parts cost a pretty penny. The front bumper alone costs $2,645 without the $945 canards. Then you still need lip guards for the front bumper at $625. Different types of vented carbon hoods are offered, ranging in price from $1,395 to $3,595. Then you'll need those aggressive side skirts at $1,995. This is all before you even get to the rear of the car, which is just as crazy as the rest of it.

There's that mental rear diffuser (a part that costs between $1,895 and $2,295) along with rear fender trims for $580. Finally, there's a massive 59.8-inch rear "GT" wing that costs between $2,295 and $2,870. If you really want to push things to the extreme, Varis provides a wide front fender set featuring aggressive vents for between $1,695 and $2,295. These widen the front of the car by 10 mm, but they're probably the only option if you really want to stand out. Working on the highest prices for each component, this whole kit can cost as much as $17,845. Ouch.
