Now we're into October, the annual SEMA tuning show held in Las Vegas is just around the corner. And Honda has announced what we can expect to see from the Japanese automaker at the show. Among the cars, trucks, SUVs, and motorcycles that will be displayed, the standout promises to be the unveiling of a unique concept vehicle. Honda says the concept "combines Honda's light truck and powersports products in a way that only Honda could achieve."

This gives us very little to go on, but the inclusion of Honda Powersports could give us a clue. The division manufactures motorcycles, ATVs, side-by-sides, and other off-road vehicles, so the concept could be a hardcore off-road Ridgeline as Honda's answer to the F-150 Raptor. Or it could be something entirely different. We won't know until the show starts on October 30.

In addition, Honda will also be showcasing its championship-winning Honda Civic Type R TCR race car that recently secured a class victory in the Pirelli World Challenge racing series. Like the Civic Type R road car, power is sourced from a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine with an increased output of 330 horsepower. The standard manual transmission has also been replaced with a six-speed sequential unit.

The Rebelle Rally Pilot will also make its public debut after enduring a grueling 1,500-mile off-road journey across the deserts of Nevada and California during the 2018 Rebelle Rally this month. Honda will also showcase a Ridgeline Overland with built-in tents and camping equipment, a fully customized 2019 Insight, and a display showing performance parts from Honda Powersports and HPD.
