With the size of the Chinese car market already large but continuously growing, the world's automakers (those from nearby Japan and Korea especially) are clamoring to make specific products just for China. Next up is Honda, which has come to the Shanghai Auto Show this year with a minivan called the Concept M. As with the concepts from Suzuki, Acura and Ford, Honda released precious few details about the Concept M, but it could make it into production – albeit presumably a little toned down – sometime next year.

The small van concept is much smaller than the Odyssey designed more for the North American market, and seeks to offer a more car-like package than the converted commercial vehicles that currently dominate the Chinese MPV market.
