It hasn't take long for a tuning company to pump out a package for the recently unveiled 2013 Honda CR-Z, with the Japanese automaker enlisting its closely-allied tuning company Mugen to give the sports hybrid some added finesse. To give the CR-Z more attitude, the Japanese tuner added new exterior components such as a carbon-fiber hood, more aggressive fog lamps, a large rear spoiler, carbon wing mirrors, modified bumpers and skirts, and a set of 17-inch dark matte grey alloys. The car is finished in a special coat of azure blue metallic.

Inside Mugen added new sports seats, new trim materials with blue accents, while a boost gauge was added for the supercharger kit that has been added to the 136-horsepower 1.5-liter engine for a 40-horse boost. Other performance upgrades include a cat-back exhaust with titanium tips, and new adjustable suspension and brake system. Only 300 Mugen-tuned CR-Z models have been slated for production, priced at 33,000 Euros, with sales expected to start in November.
