Both will be on display at the 2019 Overland Expo West this week.
The 2019 Overland Expo West kicks off in Flagstaff, Arizona this week, and Honda will be showcasing two custom versions of the 2019 Passport SUV and Ridgeline pickup kitted out with off-road performance and adventure enhancements as well as accessories by Jsport.
First up is the Honda Passport Adventure Lifestyle Project, which has an increased ride height using a Jsport lift kit that adds 1.5 inches in front and 0.75 inches of ride height in the rear. A new front skid plate has been added for additional durability, along with chunky Nitto RidgeGrappler tires mounted on 18-inch wheels that take full advantage of the Passport's available i-VTM4 torque-vectoring all-wheel-drive system.
Elsewhere, a Jsport Plateau modular roof rack has been added along with a Roofnest Sandpiper rooftop tent for outdoor enthusiasts. Jsport side steps provide easier access to the roof rack, and the modified Passport also features a spare wheel carrier that can swing out of the way for access to the rear cargo area, and a revised front bumper with an external LED light bar.
The Honda Ridgeline Adventure Lifestyle Project, on the other hand, is based on the 2019 Honda Ridgeline Black Edition and features additional skid plates, off-road wheels and tires, and a leveling kit to enhance the pickup's off-road and overlanding capability without compromising on-road comfort. There's both a roof rack and bed rack, with the latter including a pop-up tent.
Mounted in the roof rack is a Honda EU2200i generator that can power almost any electrical accessory. All the Jsport modifications on display can be purchased separately if you want to modify your Honda Ridgeline or Passport.
The 2019 Overland Expo West is open to the public from May 17th to 19th in Ft. Tuthill County Park, Flagstaff, Arizona, and will also have an accessorized version of the all-new Honda Talon 1000 X sport side-by-side on display and three camp-ready dual-sport motorcycles.
