The 2014 Honda Odyssey has made its debut at the New York Auto Show, offering some mild updates and - parents with small children rejoice - the first-ever in-car vacuum system. Dubbed the HondaVAC, the built-in vacuum cleaner will come exclusively on the Touring Elite trim. It boasts its own electric motor so doesn't require an outlet for recharging, and can work continuously with the car running or up to eight minutes with the engine shut down.

Developed with Shop-Vac, the HondaVAC boasts powerful suction, a replaceable filter and canister bag, and nozzle accessories that will help keep the minivan crumb-free at all times. Minor styling updates include a new aluminum hood and front fenders, a new twin-bar grille, a revised lower front fascia with integrated fog lights, new two-tone mirror housings, LED taillight bars and new badging. Inside, an all-new center stack is joined by some new tech such as keyless Smart Entry and HondaLink, which debuted on the 2013 Accord. No word on powerplant upgrades, so we assume the 3.5-liter V6 will continue to churn out 248 hp.
