Continuingits tradition of selling different cars under the same name in various markets,Honda has just revealed its European Civic, Civic Tourer (wagon) and CivicSport. The latter, while offering looks that could easily be mistaken for thetype R, is actually just a dressed up hatchback. Still, for European customerswho are only in it for the looks, this car does offer a pretty killer appearance– with the help of a sporty bumper, mesh grille and 17-inch alloy wheels.
The Civic Sport will be offered with a choice of two engines: a1.6-liter diesel making 118 horsepower, and a 1.8-liter gasoline enginechurning out approximately 140 hp. All models in the Civic range will comestandard with the Honda Connect infotainment system, a seven-inch displayusing a Google Android operating system.
