Performance numbers are a bit more modest than its looks.
Continuing its tradition of selling different cars under the same name in various markets, Honda has just revealed its European Civic, Civic Tourer (wagon) and Civic Sport. The latter, while offering looks that could easily be mistaken for the type R, is actually just a dressed up hatchback. Still, for European customers who are only in it for the looks, this car does offer a pretty killer appearance – with the help of a sporty bumper, mesh grille and 17-inch alloy wheels.
The Civic Sport will be offered with a choice of two engines: a 1.6-liter diesel making 118 horsepower, and a 1.8-liter gasoline engine churning out approximately 140 hp. All models in the Civic range will come standard with the Honda Connect infotainment system, a seven-inch display using a Google Android operating system.
