With the Tokyo Auto Salon a fortnight away, Honda has announced its participation at the tuning expo, revealing an array of exhibition and production vehicles that will be on display showcasing its approach to customization, power and racing. Set to feature on the Honda stand are models based on the all-new N-One city-car, including the N-One Modulo Style, the Mugen Racing N-One Concept, and a model built in collaboration with the Japan Nailist Association adorned in rhinestone. (Seriously, we couldn't make that up.)

Show models of the Vamos and Acty Truck will be amongst ten mini-vehicles representing the fun side of the Japanese carmaker. An S2000-based concept dubbed the Modulo Climax will also be exhibited, featuring cutting-edge aeroform design and a suave interior finished in black and burgundy. Honda's car exhibit will further include a Mugen CR-V concept and a CR-Z Mugen RZ, a commercially sold vehicle limited to 300 units. Honda motorbikes on show include the Goldwing F6B and two customized bikes derived from it, as well as the RC213V, Honda's racing bike that contributed to its team and constructors' championships in the 2012 MotoGP series.

Other racing vehicles to be exhibited include the HSV-010 GT and Mugen CR-Z GT from the Super GT Series, and the Docomo Team Dandelion Racing machine that won the 2012 Formula Nippon team championship. The Tokyo Auto Salon 2013 will run from January 11-13 at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba Prefecture, Japan.
