The Honda Civic is regarded around the world as the benchmark in its segment, nowhere more so than in Great Britain where it is also favored as a hot hatch. In the previous iteration Honda UK offered a Ti version that bundled a series of sporty touches into one package, and all 500 examples flew out of dealerships lickiddy-split. Little wonder then - and surely to the great satisfaction of H-badge enthusiasts in the British isles - that Honda is offering another Ti. Only this time it has doubled production to 1,000 examples.

The new limited-edition Civic Ti combines a sportier look with Honda's frugal 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine. Based on the five-door, Euro-spec Civic hatchback, the Ti is distinguished by color-coded wheel arches packing 17-inch "Le Mans" alloys supplied by Team Dynamics, the outfit that fields the Civic in the British Touring Car Championship. Available in white, silver or red, the Civic Ti also comes with climate control, auxiliary inputs, electric windows, Bluetooth and iPod connectivity and audio controls on the leather-wrapped steering wheel... about £1,000 worth of equipment bundled together, all for £16,995 on the road.
