Ken Blocks's company, Hoonigan Industries, has released paying tribute to the late motorsport icon and explaining why the company hasn't made any statements until now. The video starts with Brian Scotto addressing the camera with the rest of the crew known to many of us from Hoonigan's videos at his side. He explains that, understandably, it's taking time to process the grief at losing a mentor and a leader, and Hoonigan is slowly coming to terms and working out what to do next. The last six minutes of the 11-minute video is a montage of clips celebrating the joy of Block's life well lived - including our favorite iconic moment of Block hanging the bumper of his Hoonicorn Mustang over the side of a mountain at Pikes Peak.

Hoonigan says it has episodes of shows featuring Block that it feels should be released and is thinking about putting on an event celebrating the man that's inspired so many of us. Possibly as soon as February this year and in the Los Angeles area.

"We also wanna let you know, again, we ask for your patience because everybody in this building is grieving, and it's been difficult for everybody to get back to work and to stay focused," Scotto said. "So delays and things like that are unfortunately gonna be a part of it. But we do thank you for all that."

It's clear how much pain the Hoonigan crew is feeling right now from their demeanor in the video, and our hearts go out to them.

The six-minute montage of Ken Block was originally shown at a private celebration of life at Cannon Park City last week. It was made as a private piece, but Hoonigan decided it should be made public.

The tribute celebrates Block as a driver, an entertainer, an entrepreneur, and, of course, as a father. It's a poignant and well-edited piece that will remind fans of Block just how much energy, talent, and creativity he brought to the automotive scene and industry and that he leaves a family he loved behind.
