This may be one of the greatest classic Porsches out there.
The sound of those old school air-cooled engines is quite unique. Classic Porsche (and VW, for that matter) enthusiasts will recognize one immediately. Although Porsche switched to water-cooled flat sixes back in 1997, there are still plenty of people who prefer the charm of yesteryear. There's just something about classic Porsches that speaks to many gearheads. And before the 911 there was the 356, a legend in its own right. In fact, Rod Emory of Emory Motorsports works exclusively on 356s.
He rebuilds and improves them in keeping with Porsche tradition. So what does he drive? A modified 356 Speedster. The attention to detail is just incredible, as is the car as a whole. When they say they don't make them like they used to, perhaps Emory's 356 is what they're referring to.
