For those who were never too heavily into 90s and early 2000s hip hop or have never been a police officer, let us acquaint you with the meaning of the number combination "187." In California, the penal code is used to designate the crime of murder and can be heard mentioned by police over radio when the worst has occurred. Wanting to share a bit of their might or plight, rappers took the term and used it in their songs. Murder or not, the number seems to have resonated with the Mercedes-AMG E63 S.

This video taken on the Autobahn depicts a stunning matte black model equipped with the AMG Driver's Package along with the standard 603 horsepower 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8. With an impressive all-wheel drive system, this car launches from 0-62 mph in 3.4 seconds, but equally impressive is its murderous top speed.

With the dream-worthy car on hand and a relatively empty derestricted autobahn, there's really not much of a better way to see how the Mercedes sprits. After putting it into race mode, the car is off, belching its classic AMG roar unimpeded by the turbochargers. From the driver's point of view, the surroundings blur past and one can almost see knuckles go white, though the smooth and high quality German engineering seems to have made it so that the driver does not need to expend a lot of effort to keep the car straight all the way up to the 187 mph mark.
