We've recently seen prices of classic Ferraris continue to rise. While this 1962 Ferrari 250 GT SWB Berlinetta Speciale isn't expected to fetch as much as this other classic Ferrari, it's estimated to go for a whopping $16 million. This unique vehicle started life off as a Ferrari 250 GT SWB but was given a new design by Giuseppe "Nuccio" Bertone and Giorgetto Giugiaro of Carrozzeria Bertone. Nuccio later sold it and the Ferrari eventually stopped changing hands and had one owner for 13 consecutive years (1967 - 1980).

After 13 years of ownership and roughly 100,000 miles of use, the car ended up in the hands of a collector in Mexico which is where its current owner acquired it from. Despite undergoing numerous restorations the 250 GT SWB Berlinetta Speciale still has its original chassis, transmission and engine. The vehicle is set to go on sale this August at Gooding & Company's Pebble Beach auction. With its rich history and unique look, it's no surprise that this Ferrari is expected to fetch this much money.
