Newport Convertible Engineering takes factory cars and transforms them into convertibles, which is exactly what it did with this Tesla Model S. The four-door drop-top, complete with electrically-retractable soft top, first appeared on our radar back in September, and subsequently made its way onto eBay. But before you get excited, the car has already found a buyer, with a winning bid of $100,000 enough to secure the rare prize.

With just 500 miles on the clock and given it's a P85+ model with the performance package, we actually think the buyer has bought themselves a bit of a special car. If you like what you see, then the company charges $29,000 for the conversion.
