How The Hell Did A Bear Lock Itself Inside This Subaru Outback?

Offbeat

At least the Subaru’s interior wasn’t nice before it was mauled.

When Colorado's Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department was called to a white Subaru Outback, the deputies didn’t know what to expect. Fortunately they stayed on their toes because they encountered a black bear that managed to get locked inside. It’s unclear how the bear got inside in the first place or how it locked itself in, but this isn’t the first time that we have seen this happen. Fortunately, the quick-thinking deputies got the bear out the back of the Outback (pun intended) with the only casualty being the Subaru’s interior.

Pardon the poor camera angles but we wouldn’t exactly be trying to shoot like a professional if we were in this deputy's shoes.
