The Lamborghini Huracan GT3s racing in this year's 24 Hours of Daytona are fast, perhaps the fastest in the GTD Class. And with speed (and endurance racing in general) comes the risk of crashes. It's bound to happen. And in the 11th hour of the Rolex 24 at Daytona a pair of Huracan GT3s did just that. More specifically, they crashed into each other. Bryce Miller in the No. 48 car plowed into Justin Marks' No. 16 car as the two were going head-to-head for their class lead.
According to Miller, in an interview with Motorsport.com, said he "was committed to a full braking zone, pulling downshifts and setting up for turn one, and he came from a distance back and did a banzai maneuver. The contact he made with the left-rear corner was really significant, enough to completely spin the car down the inside pit wall."
