How to Become a Rally Driver

Rally

Following your dream doesn't come easy, but the pay off can be well worth the sacrifice.

Many of us dream of racing cars for a living; very few are lucky enough to make this dream come true. But if you want something badly enough you’ll find a way to make it happen. In the case of a former intern now full-time producer at /DRIVE, he’s opted to go all the way to become a rally racing driver. Along with building his own Subaru WRX rally car, Ryan Symancek traveled to New Zealand to further engulf himself in rally culture and to improve his driving skills with the help of a pro rally driver.

This is some true commitment to following your dreams, everyone. Symancek takes us on the first steps of a year-long journey on building a rallycross car as well as sharpening his driving skills.
