We saw its debut last March at Geneva, and now the Audi R8 LMS GT3 race car can be yours. That's right. Audi is giving everyone the chance to start their very own GT3 team, and it believes the R8 LMS is your ideal chariot. It's well proven itself by winning an overall victory at the Nurburgring 24 Hours in June, followed by two podium finishes in July at the Spa 24 Hours. So how much is something like this going to cost? Best to come with a small fortune because it'll take a big one to fund the team as a whole.

With a starting price of around $402,000 excluding taxes, the R8 LMS is all yours. That gets you up to 585 hp from its 5.2-liter V10. Tack on a starter and parts package and you're looking at a new grand total of about $445,870 without taxes. Production of customer cars is set to kick off later this month and the first deliveries will happen in late October. Audi claims to have the capacity to produce 45 examples until the end of March 2016 in order to satisfy demand for next season.
