How To Turn A Mercedes-AMG GT Into A 200-MPH Animal

Tuning

Just. Add. Power,

The Mercedes-AMG GT S is slowly finding its way onto the streets, so it comes as no real surprise to find aftermarket firms offering upgrades for owners to think about. The latest comes courtesy of McChip-DKR, and is available for both the GT and GT S. For now, the Stage 1 kit is the only tuning program available and boosts the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 to 590 hp and 553 lb-ft of torque. That’s enough to launch the car to 62 mph in 3.6 seconds and hit a top speed of almost 200 mph.
