Popular sports coupe gets a serious hike in performance.
While work on a 700-horsepower upgrade continues, German tuner HPerformance has introduced its latest aftermarket package showcased on a pair of Audi TT-RS models. Wearing respective coats of matte black and glossy white paint, the range-topping TTs have had their 2.5-liter turbocharged five-pot boosted from 340 hp and 332 lb-ft of torque to 500 hp and 523 lb-ft.
That was achieved by installing an upgraded turbocharger, a specially-designed exhaust system, an optimized intake manifold, an aluminum intercooler, and HJS racing cats. The white TT-RS also benefits from a single mass flywheel, while the black model comes with a step 3 DSG adaptation. On top of that, HPerformance has fitted Bilstein coilovers, H&R stabilizers and a carbon-ceramic braking system nabbed straight from the Audi R8 GT.
