It's about time that F1 returns to America. At least that's what Hublot seems to be saying with this exclusive timepiece. Never mind that the proposed Grand Prix of America in New Jersey has been postponed by another year. Next month the first F1 race in five years will be held on American soil with the inaugural United States Grand Prix at the new Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas. So to commemorate the event, Formula One's official timekeeper has released this special F1 King Power Austin edition wristwatch.

The F1 King Power Austin features an oversized 48-milimeter titanium case with a brake-disc bezel rendered in titanium and carbon fiber, and screws fashioned from titanium and black resin. Underneath the sapphire crystal and red dial sits Hublot's 27-jewel HUB4100 automatic chronograph movement with date window, a 42-hour power reserve and a 100-meter water resistance. The timepiece is affixed to the wrist by a black hornback alligator leather strap with red stitching and a black PVD deployment buckle. No word on pricing, but we've seen previous F1 edition Hublots selling for upwards of $30,000, and with only 250 individually-numbered examples to be offered, we would expect no less of this one.
