Lamborghini is helping raise funds and awareness of men's health issues with these special parades.
To help support Movember, the world's leading men's health charity that raises funds and awareness of mental health, suicide prevention, prostate, and testicular cancer, Lamborghini is touring a special parade of supercars around the world. From November 6, as many as 1,500 Lamborghinis have been touring major cities, with the latest stop of the tour taking place in London, UK.
To help raise money and awareness for the charity, a convoy of over 200 Lamborghinis was driven across the UK to Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire, where they were greeted by the founders of Movember and Federico Foschini, Lamborghini board member for sales and marketing.
As well as the UK, the parade of mustache-wearing Lamborghinis will visit New York, Sydney, London, Cape Town, Rome, and Bangkok, with 92 Lamborghini dealers and hundreds of Lamborghini enthusiasts participating in the charity run. Lamborghinis attract attention wherever they go, so this is a great incentive that will hopefully help raise awareness of Movember's noble cause. Plus, it's not every day you see hundreds of Lamborghinis wearing mustaches.
"It's incredible to see this collaboration come to life. Social connection is critical for men to live healthier, happier, longer lives," said JC Coghlan, Movember cofounder, who joined the UK bull run with his wife Sarah, Movember's director of global men's health promotion programs.
"These bull runs across the world are an amazing example of how we can gather and collectively have impact, stay connected and have some fun, doing good. It's an absolute privilege to be driving in the London event, in a large collective of these pieces of art, each designed collaboratively with their owners. I'm looking forward to gathering and starting shoulder-to-shoulder conversations. A massive thank you to all the team at Lamborghini for creating such a special event across the world."
