After a one year hiatus, the Ram 1500 Mossy Oak Edition has returned and will debut next week at Detroit. Targeting hunters, campers and fishermen, the special edition model is based on the Ram 1500 4x4 Crew Cab Outdoorsman and comes in a choice of Prairie Pearl (as pictured), Black, and Black Gold. On top of that, a mossy oak camouflage will cover the lower parts of the body and the upper edge of the cargo bed.

Unlike the 2011-2012 models, the 2014 Mossy Oak Edition comes with an optional RamBox system for storing hunting, camping and fishing equipment. More camo can be found in the cabin, specifically on the door panels and center stack, while the Mossy Oak logo is embroidered on the headrests. Two colors are offered for the cloth seats, but Katzkin leather is an option for those that demand the Espresso Tuscany look. After leaving Detroit, the Ram 1500 Mossy Oak Edition will head to the more apt Shooting, Hunting, and Outdoor Trade (SHOT) Show in Las Vegas. Within the next couple of months it will go on sale priced from $39,985 (plus $1,195 destination).
