Last year supercar owner and enthusiast-and prolific YouTuber-Salomondrin brought us "Hyper 5," a comparison video featuring the Ferrari LaFerrari, Porsche 918 Spyder, McLaren P1, Bugatti Veyron Super Sport and Pagani Huayra. We've decided to pay a late tribute to it, albeit a dark one. This list features the ultra-expensive and insanely rare Hyper 5 in a way you'd never want to see them: beaten up and broken down. If seeing crashed LaFerraris or P1s makes you squeamish then you might want to look away now.

We kick this list off with one of the worst Ferrari LaFerrari crashes we've ever seen. The supercar was cruising through Budapest, Hungary, when the driver decided to get a bit throttle happy. Unfortunately he ended up running off the road and smashing up his $1.4 million hypercar. Only 499 LaFerraris were made and we don't know if this one was fixed up or written off. If you'd like to see just how this accident occurred there's a crappy video of it.

Only 100 Pagani Huayras were made, so needless to say it's kind of rare to see one involved in a crash. Unfortunately, car collector Kris Singh made history when his special edition Pagani Huayra "La Monza Lisa" was t-boned in Miami by an Uber driver. Now the hypercar wasn't close to being destroyed but it was down a wheel. Singh himself was fine, if likely pissed as hell. Of course this is a Pagani we're talking about here. A Huayra getting t-boned and losing a wheel is the equivalent of a Toyota Camry getting hit with an RPG.

The Porsche 918 Spyder is an awesome hypercar but it's not the rarest car on this list by a long shot. Only 918 were made, but that's a high enough number to where one crashing isn't the rarest event ever. This crash occurred in Shanghai and involved a woman mistaking the gas for the brake. That of course led to the 918 smooching a tree. Luckily no one was hurt in the accident. As we said, 918 crashes aren't rare and we need to give a shout to the one that caught on fire and burnt to death in Toronto. You were so close to making this list in full.

Like the Huayra, the McLaren P1 didn't have a large production run. Only 375 were made, and one of those is owned by Sultan Bin Rashed Al Nahyan who lives in the Washington DC area. Unfortunately for the young sultan, his buddy borrowed his hybrid hypercar and ended up wrecking it. The driver blew through a stop sign and was t-boned by a Honda Pilot of all things. In true sultan fashion Nahyan said that his P1 would "be back on the streets in a month or so."

Yes, this is not a Bugatti Veyron Super Sport. It's just a "regular" Veyron, if such a thing even exists. But it still makes this list because of its epic crash. This incident happened on the roads outside the city of Graz, Austria. The driver lost control of the Veyron and proceeded to run through a guardrail and fall 40 feet. Miraculously the guy walked away unharmed but as expected his Veyron was a total write-off. Again we have another honorable mention, this time to the guy who drove his Veyron into a Texas lake.
