The 2020 Hyundai Palisade and its sister car, the 2020 Kia Telluride, are two of the hottest new entrants to the three-row crossover segment. Deciding between the two is mainly an exercise in personal opinion, though the Hyundai is slightly less expensive with an MSRP of $31,550. Either SUV would make an excellent vehicle for a large family, which is why the Palisade was recently chosen as a giveaway car for a very deserving family.

Michelle and Don Beauchen each had three children from previous relationships and became a family of eight when they married. The Palisade would be able to accommodate all eight people but the Beauchens then adopted four more children, bringing their family up to 12. After appearing on Good Morning America, the family inspired thousands of people to adopt children of their own.

Hyundai was inspired by the Beauchen's story and decided to gift them a brand-new Palisade. "We were thrilled and honored to be the dealership that presented the Beauchene's with their very own 2020 Hyundai Palisade SUV," said Joshua Bakuhn, general manager at Preston Hyundai of Boardman in Ohio. "From Ohio to Los Angeles, their story showed how care and compassion can help build a family, regardless of the obstacles."

"Michelle and Don are incredibly deserving of the all-new Hyundai Palisade and they embody the Hyundai spirit of making things better, "said Dean Evans, CMO, Hyundai Motor America. "Whether it is for road trips or for running their new family about, we wish nothing but the very best for the Beauchene family and hope that this vehicle brings them much happiness and many, many miles for years to come."

Of course, the Palisade isn't quite large enough to accommodate all 12 members of the family but it is one of only a handful of vehicles that can fit up to eight comfortably. The Palisade also comes with Hyundai's 10-year/100,000-mile warranty, so the Beauchene family will have a reliable family hauler for years to come.
