After showing you the upcoming Hyundai Intrado concept due in Geneva later this week, we now have some fresh spy shots of the next generation Tucson, which is currently undergoing testing in the Arctic Circle neighborhood. With very few details available for now, we expect this crossover to be offered with a range of diesel and gas engines, generating lower emissions and offering more power than the current generation.

The test vehicle retains some of the "Fluidic Sculpture" lines from the beautiful concept Intrado, like the tight rear window and the sleek, slim headlights. This is the first prototype of the Tucson replacement we have seen, so we expect to have many more details after the Geneva concept has made its official debut. Meanwhile, here are some very fresh, and very icy, spy pics of the new Hyundai, which should prove to be a very important model for the Korean automaker in the US market.
