As the debut of the new Hyundai Ioniq 6 draws closer, Hyundai has started drumming up major hype for its newest electric car. We've seen a teaser already that was about the design language of the brand's swoopy new crossover, and now Hyundai is releasing a teaser a day to keep the speculators away.

Each of the teasers, which you can see in their full form sprinkled throughout this post, focuses on a different aspect of the new Ioniq 6, showing off tastes of the car's different design elements.

The first showed the rear lightbar/wing of the Ioniq 6, which features a similar pixelated look to the Ioniq 5's tail lights. This will become a sort of a signature for Ioniq brands, and we'll get to that a little later. It looks to us like this particular aspect of the car hasn't changed since the stunning concept car, which is good news in our book.

The next two teasers both discuss the aerodynamics of the Ioniq 6 without giving much away. Really, the posts on Instagram don't say much, but they do show us some of the car's design. The roofline will be very coupe-like, and it appears the wheels will sit very flush with the bodywork, likely for better aero.

But the big news here is the most recent teaser, which shows that the Hyundai Ioniq 6 will get camera mirrors. However, those still aren't legal in the US, so perhaps these are just on a test car for Europe. Our spy photos even show the Ioniq 6 with regular, plain-Jane mirrors.

Hyundai calls those pixel lights we brought up earlier the "Parametric Pixel." It'll tell you the pixel "links the digital and analog," but we're not in marketing, so it's ok to just say it looks neat. Which it does, featured not only on the rear wing but what appears to be the rear bumper too.

As far as we're concerned, that's confirmation the Ioniq 6 will have similar taillights to the Ioniq 5. Good enough, if you ask us. Hyundai will continue teasing the car daily on its Instagram in a brilliant marketing strategy. We'll stick to checking back weekly, and we expect the Ioniq 6 to debut in July, possibly at the Busan Motor Show.
