The Hyundai i30 hatchback has arrived.
Hyundai has just released some photos of their brand-new i30 hatchback. The car replaces its forebearer of the same name and will compete in Europe. The i30 is sold in the U.S. as the Elantra Touring station wagon. The i30 features some design cues borrowed from the recently recleased i40, such as a large hexagonal front grille, wraparound headlights, pronounced front wheel arches and a very noticeable belt line. The hatchback will also sport some fuel-efficient 4-cylinder gas or diesel engine.
The C-Segment machine will compete against the Volkswagen Golf, Ford Focus and Renault Megane in Europe. The Hyundai i30 hatchback will make its debut in a week's time at the 2011 Frankfurt Auto Show.
