If you are the owner of a Volkswagen diesel model and you are not satisfied with the company's payoff, Hyundai might have the answer. Hyundai is now offering Friends and Family pricing on new cars for owners of any 2.0-liter diesel-equipped Volkswagens. A spokesperson from the South Korean automaker said that this is "an alternative to potentially orphaned diesel owners that will be entering the market for a new vehicle." So what exactly do you get from Hyundai if you trade in your diesel VW? Well, you get several discounts.

According to a Hyundai dealership's website, you will get the gross dealer invoice price, 3% off of the MSRP, $1,250 off the purchase price, and any other available incentives. Hyundai has posted a full list of Volkswagen models which are eligible for this deal. This list includes certain model years of the Beetle, Golf, Golf Sportwagen, Jetta, Jetta Sportwagen, Passat and Audi A3. These incentives certainly are interesting and if you do have a diesel VW and want a new car, maybe you should go into your local Hyundai dealership instead.
