Audi should have done this years ago. But is it enough?
Withsome of the greatest affordable luxury cars cruising our roads, Audi certainlyhas a lot to be proud of when it comes to performance, design and technology. But for some time now, it seems like one model has been left behind. The A5Coupe, which was introduced in 2007 and underwent a delicate refresh along theway, is due for a complete redesign later this year. And following theintroduction of the new A4 sedan and wagon, which it will be heavily based on, it'sabout time for the used-to-be sleek coupe to play a bit of catch up.
Featuring a design language that is, once again, heavily based on thenew A4, these renderings from Theophilus Chin show an A5 that has a bit of added personality, with sleeker headlights and a modified rear that makes it more sportyand draws some influences from the Prologue Coupe concept. But would this be enoughto make you buy it over, say, a BMW 4 Series or Mercedes C-Class?
