You may not know Jodie Kidd, but know this: She was in the running to co-host the new incarnation of "Top Gear" led by Chris Evans. In fact, she was so in the mix for a co-host spot that she was able to pass on the offer. Usually you can't pass on something that's not even a possibility, right? Before we get to why she passed we'll give you a Kidd crash course. She currently hosts "The Classic Car Show" on BBC along with Quentin Wilson and started her career in entertainment as a model.

Kidd was also a professional racing driver and now drives a Jaguar F-Type R. So, yeah, she was qualified to host "Top Gear," but why didn't she do it? Kidd laid it all out to The Telegraph in an interview. "If I were to accept Top Gear it would be completely all-consuming. I love doing all the different things I am doing in my life at the moment. Top Gear is the most brilliant show on this planet but it would just take over your soul. That would be it." Now we don't know how badly Evans wanted Kidd to join him on the show-the two are said to be friends-but regardless, she won't be joining him. Any word on Jenson Button?
